let’s (un)explore and do epic shit around the country! this isn’t just another “let’s go on an adventure” kind of experience. this is an invitation to explore places less traveled in unique and unexpected ways, tap into community by getting to know the locals, and unbecome what isn’t truly you

days will be packed with adventure—both in the places we explore and in the journey within. my mission with (un)explore is to lead wellness-focused adventures that uncover hidden gems and spark self-discovery. the goal is to connect like-minded people through immersive experiences that challenge, inspire, and cultivate a strong sense of community. each trip creates unforgettable memories and reminds us that everyone has a story worth telling. while these trips are about so much more than just the places we visit or the things we do, I can promise you this—you’ll get down and dirty, fully immersing yourself in every destination and experience along the way. because the best adventures aren’t just seen, they’re felt, lived, and remembered forever

michigan

get ready for a one-of-a-kind journey on (un)explore michigan, where we’ll take the road less traveled to uncover some of the state’s best-kept secrets. kicking off and wrapping up at detroit metro airport, this trip blends adventure, relaxation, and a little bit of the unexpected. we will spend one night at a unique airbnb, soaking in the local character, before heading out for two nights aboard the Athina sailboat, where the great lakes become your backyard. from off-the-beaten-path discoveries to laid-back moments on the water, this experience is all about seeing michigan in a whole new way

  • (un)explore michigan is a 4-day trip, happening over a long weekend from 8/15 - 8/18. (un)explorers will meet at the detroit airport by noon on the first day, and will be dropped back off by 4pm on the last day

  • day 1 - meet in detroit by noon and head to sleeping bear dunes national lakeshore for stunning views and the option to tackle the dune climb. in the evening, we’ll enjoy the charm of traverse city and, of course, some of the best ice cream ever

    day 2 - start the morning with a 3-mile hike along the lake, then head north to board the Athina. after a delicious açaí bowl, we’ll set sail from mackinaw city to explore the first of two islands (exact itineray dependent on weather)

    day 3 - spend the day exploring local islands, with options like biking, paddleboarding, swimming, shopping, or relaxing on the sailboat nets. one night, we’ll have dinner in town; the other will feature a sunset pizza party sail and evening drinks on shore

    day 4 - enjoy a relaxing morning on the sailboat (or squeeze in your favorite activity) before we set sail back to mackinaw city. we’ll arrive at detroit metro airport by 4 pm for evening flights, taking home unforgettable memories

  • the all-inclusive price (excluding airfare) will be $1,000 per person. payment is structured as a non-refundable deposit followed by two additional payments

JOIN THE MICHIGAN TRIP

colorado

(un)explore colorado will take you along one of the most stunning highways in the country, winding through rugged mountain passes and stopping in charming, historic towns. but we’re not just driving—we’re diving deep into the san juan mountains, navigating cliffside roads, tackling steep trails, and scaling a via ferrata high above a canyon. this is a true mountain adventure, pushing beyond the pavement into the wild. with high-elevation hikes and challenging terrain, hiking experience is required—this is for those who crave both the beauty and the burn. stays will be at local adventure-focused hotels and a glamping site in the mountains

  • (un)explore colorado is a 6-day trip, happening over a weekend from 9/25 - 9/30. (un)explorers will meet at the denver airport by 4pm on thursday, and will be dropped back off by 3pm on tuesday

  • day 1 - meet in denver by 4pm MT, then hit the road west for a long car ride into the mountains where strangers will become friends

    day 2 - push your limits on a challenging trek to reach breathtaking alpine lakes, and then unwind in local hot springs under the stars

    day 3 - enjoy sunrise on the Telluride gondola with a breakfast burrito in hand, before off-roading to skinny dip in a hidden lake

    day 4 -hike into the heart of the san juans to pristine alpine lakes before enjoying views out your window on a famous highway drive

    day 5 - experience new heights on the ouray via ferrata, and then celebrate the adrenaline rush with a nighttime hot springs soak

    day 6 - unwind with sunrise yoga before heading back to denver, stopping for a final mountain town lunch before airport drop-off by 3pm MT

  • “(un)explore Michigan was exactly what I didn’t know I needed. signing up for this trip was a leap of faith, walking into the unknown, knowing no one, and carrying the weight of a year that had completely turned my life upside down. my initial thoughts: what even is in Michigan? is it too late to back out? my current thoughts: the UP is an underrated gem. life is so much better when you say, “I can’t believe I did this” instead of, “I wish I had.” from climbing halfway down (and back up) Sleeping Bear Dunes to biking through an island where horses roam the streets, every moment was unexpected in the best way. a catamaran ride even came with a few extra eight-legged passengers, but with a cleverly crafted solution in hand, we kept things under control, and I lived to tell the tale. between deep conversations under the stars, spontaneous lake swims, naps in the catamaran nets, and hikes to breathtaking views, this trip was the perfect mix of adventure, challenge, and connection. but beyond the places we explored, what made this trip unforgettable was the people. Ally has a gift for creating a space where strangers quickly become something more: travel companions, adventure partners, and lifelong friends. she creates an experience that pushes you outside your comfort zone but makes sure you never feel alone in it. there’s no pressure to be anything other than yourself. you just have to show up”
